John Zbihley
President
John Zbihley, President of OnDemand Energy, has over 30 years of energy industry experience and is an expert in energy procurement, production, delivery, and energy efficiency program development for businesses. Through his leadership at OnDemand, they have grown
their services platform to serve over 5,000 business and 15,000 residential clients who are reducing their energy bills by more than $50 million annually. John has extensive facility and engineering energy management experience. He also has had various leadership roles and senior-level management responsibilities for DQE's OnDemand Energy, ValuSource Energy and Duquesne Light Company subsidiaries. Mr. Zbihley earned his M.S. in Industrial Administration (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon University, with concentrations in marketing, finance and entrepreneurship. He also studied engineering, economics and math at The Pennsylvania State University, where he received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
John Bodine
Vice President, Sales & Business Development
John Bodine has 25 years of experience in business
development, strategic planning and sales execution within
the retail energy and information technology industries. John's most recent
experience in the retail energy sector involved the development and
implementation of energy programs for OnDemand's various affinity partners and
associations. The over-arching goal of these affinity energy programs is to
provide the greatest array of choice for energy purchasing in each respective
electric distribution company (EDC), while simultaneously educating the marketplace
on energy deregulation. Prior to joining OnDemand, John was instrumental in
taking a sophisticated energy risk management product, normally reserved for
large, industrial clients, and implementing the risk management platform for
small commercial pools and aggregations. John also led the sales efforts in the
PJM market for one of the energy industry's largest third-party energy
suppliers. John has a B.A. in Mathematics from St. Vincent College
and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
George Goss
Vice President, Energy Management Services
George Goss has been with OnDemand since 1995. George leads OnDemand's Energy Management Services sales and operations. He has over 35 years of experience in the energy industry, and has held various leadership positions in the electric contractor industry. George also established two successful private energy service companies -- Conserve Electric and EMC. George holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
John Morris
Director, Technical Services & Regulatory Affairs, PE, CEP
John Morris has over 35 years of experience in the regulated and
deregulated energy industry. Prior to joining OnDemand, John served as Project Manager of Rates and Regulatory Affairs for Duquesne Light Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At Duquesne, John was responsible for Cost of Service studies, electric rate design and tariff issues, and worked extensively with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. He was a key participant in rate design of unbundled retail tariffs into transmission, distribution, generation and stranded costs. John was also responsible for coordination of key regulatory filings, coordination of PA PUC management audits, preparation of testimony and served as a witness for cost-of-service filings to the PA PUC. John is a registered Engineer with the State of Pennsylvania. John has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an agricultural engineering degree from West Virginia University.
John Welch
Corporate Advisor
John Welch has over 35 years of experience in the energy industry. He has held
senior executive positions in natural gas, electric and complementary energy-related
industries. His career began in 1974 at Equitable Gas Company, a Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania-based vertically-integrated natural gas company. After 21
years of service, he left Equitable Gas Company as president to launch DQE
Holdings into several new complementary energy-related businesses. One of those businesses was OnDemand Energy. Mr.
Welch has spoken both domestically and internationally in areas related to
competitive marketing, data retrieval technology and corporate development, and
has been published in numerous energy-related trade journals. He has industry
experience in the privatization of utility assets in Australia, the Pacific
Rim, South America and Europe. Mr. Welch has served on the Board of Directors
of the Pennsylvania Gas Association, Research Advisory Committee of the Institute
of Gas Technology, the Advisory Board of the Ford Motor Corporation Alternative
Fuel Vehicle Initiative, the Marketing Advisory Board of Duquesne University,
and served as vice president of the Advisory Board of The Pennsylvania State
University - New Kensington Campus. He earned a B.S. in Environmental Resource
Management from The Pennsylvania State University, completed the Ventures and
Mergers graduate program at Northwestern University, and is a certified Green
Roof Professional.
Don Wukich
Director, Education Market Services
Don
Wukich manages OnDemand's
school district Intermediate Unit consortiums and higher education energy programs. Don also takes on a leading management role
within OnDemand's professionally managed energy pools/solutions division. Prior to joining OnDemand in 2010, Don was a
leader in managing one of the nation's first natural gas consortiums, consisting of approximately 150
school districts as well as non-public schools, municipalities and churches in
Western Pennsylvania. Over the past 20
years, participants have saved in excess of $70 million through participation
in this consortium. Don has also been
involved in the deregulated electric market since 1997, where the electric
consortium saved over $38 million.
Christian R. Silveira
Manager, Sales & Mass Market Operations, CEP
Christian joined the
OnDemand team in 2010. His ten years of experience in the Finance &
Banking industry and as a small business owner of an independent brokerage
company have prepared him for his current leadership role. Driven by his desire to lead by example and his hands-on management style, Christian always meets
customer and client demands while maintaining exceptionally high quality customer service. Under Christian's
leadership, OnDemand has experienced steady
growth and consistent market expansion. Christian is a licensed
Certified Energy Professional (CEP) and is a 2001 alumnus of Malone University,
where he earned a B.S. in History.
Phil Orend
Director, Marketing & Sales Coordinator
Phil Orend joined OnDemand Energy in 2006. He has extensive background in the manufacturing and industrial customer market segment. In his former position as a sales account manager in industrial lubricants, he was responsible for savings his clients over $40 million dollars in annual operating costs in the first 3 years. Mr. Orend also has significant experience with large non-profit organizations with leadership positions including President of the Hopewell Area School Board and a Trustee of the Board at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland PA.
Denise Edeburn
Director, Accounting & IT Services
Denise joined OnDemand Energy in October of 2010. Denise has over 20 years of experience in accounting spanning a variety of operational roles. Her career has included positions working for several of Pittsburgh's
large local businesses: Pitt-Ohio Express, UPMC and DSI. She also has been able to augment her accounting
experience as an IT consultant for the Pittsburgh Airport Authority, Wabtec and
HUB 1 and as a Senior Business Systems Analyst for Walgreens Specialty
Pharmacy. She is a graduate of Duquesne
University with a B.S. in Accounting/Business.
