OnDemand Energy Solutions Provides Energy Services to PNA Members
3/4/2010

PITTSBURGH, Penn., November 10, 2009 – OnDemand Energy Solutions has been selected to provide energy procurement consulting services to members of the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association (PNA).

Through the PNA/OnDemand Energy Agreement, PNA members will have access to the Chamber Choice Energy program. PNA contracted with OnDemand to help the organization’s members navigate through the expiration of electricity rate caps throughout the state of Pennsylvania over the next 15 months. OnDemand Energy provides a comprehensive range of energy supply solutions including an aggregated buying pool. The pool is designed to layer in bulk electricity purchases over time to avoid the risk of purchasing all your energy at one time. This results in lower and less risky pricing for businesses that are PNA members and participating in the pool.

“We encourage our members to contact OnDemand Energy to discuss potential cost savings for their newspapers,” said Tim Williams, president, Pennsylvania Newspaper Association. “OnDemand is a leading energy consultant in the state and thanks to the leverage they bring with thousands of clients, OnDemand can provide lower electricity supply costs on behalf of PNA members.”

PNA members should contact John Bodine at 412.424.2562 at OnDemand Energy for a presentation or more information.

OnDemand Energy has been licensed by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission since 1999, and in the past decade has placed more than six billion kilowatt-hours of load into third party electricity supply contracts. Currently, OnDemand is shopping for over 1,500 customers with annual energy usage of over 1.5 billion kwh in the PP&L utility territory where market caps are being lifted on January 1, 2010. In areas where the market caps have long been lifted, OnDemand Energy has been able to secure more than $60 million in aggregate energy savings for its clients.
